I've found my perfect place!

Well, once I finish getting the hang of it that is. The Girl You Don't Bring Home to Momma posted her results of this little quiz on her blog. She would have been a cartographer. I know. Weird. Who'da thunk THAT was what she'd be! Anyway, she peaked my curiosity and I just had to see what my medieval profession would have been.

I was hoping it wasn't going to be the Village Idiot.

Here's my results, minus the lovely fonts and spacing that the actual page had because I haven't yet figured out how to bring that back over here. Just read already, it says I'd be a wordsmith, not a magician! Geez Louise.

What's Your Medieval Profession?
You Are a Playwright

You are a highly literate wordsmith. You love both reading and writing.
You are also a natural storyteller. You can turn a mediocre anecdote into a riveting tale.

You find people and all aspects of life fascinating. No topic is off limits for you.
In modern times, you would make a good filmmaker or novelist.

Soo, fast forward that into the 'communication' age and voila! You have a blogger!

Yay, no wonder that fingers fit this keyboard so well. No wonder that my brain just fizzes with ideas of things to do. No wonder my butt...never mind.

Now, I'm off to catch up on everyone else's minutia of their lives, gripes, joys, dramas and laughs in their own blogs!

Fare Thee Well all ye Lords and Ladies!

What's Your Medieval Profession?
You Are a Jester
You are a natural entertainer. You can get a laugh from the toughest of crowds.
You make friends very easily. You tend to know a lot of popular, rich, and powerful people.

You are also good at playing politics. You know how to get along with many factions without upsetting anyone.
In modern times, you would make a good actor or world leader.

WTF??? That quiz is toast... here's what it gave me:

What's Your Medieval Profession?
You Are a Rat Catcher

Not the most glamorous job in the world, but the Middle Ages weren't exactly glamourous!
You have the skills, intelligence, and craftiness to be a successful rat catcher.

You are willing to take risks and go to some pretty sketchy places in the name of your career.
In modern times, you would make a good detective, pilot, or firefighter.

I'm a Cartographer.

You have a wide range of knowledge and you're very detail oriented.
You have a photographic memory, and you remember places very well.

Like a middle ages cartographer, you're also very adventurous and curious about the world.
In modern times, you would make a good non-fiction writer or scientist.

How the hell did they know? Huh?
